Dream North Foundation (DNF) is a tax-exempt 501(C)(3) nonprofit organization (EIN #87-2640705) that supplies programs for at-risk women and children including rehab assistance, group homes, and societal preparation and placement.
Through our Los Angeles-based group home facility, along with our global “Story Time with Dream North & Friends” book reading events, we host a team of diverse women aligned with a common goal to uplift survivors from all around the world!
OUR APPROACH
In the United States, there are several harrowing statistics that shield stability for women and their children. Research from numerous studies has found trafficking rates among youth and young adults experiencing homelessness range from 19% to 40%. According to the anti-trafficking group, Shared Hope International, at minimum, 100,000 children are prostituted each year as part of the $9.8 billion U.S. sex trafficking industry. Many of these individuals may have been exposed to the judicial system from events stemming out of their own control.
Throughout its five-year history, Dream North Entertainment has been able to provide services to thousands of individuals including youth development, artistic outreach and job creation. We have also leveraged strong community partnerships with other impactful organizations including FAMLI, Inc., The Los Angeles Police Museum and more. Through these partnerships, we have already been able to begin planning events and internship opportunities for more than 300 at-risk and fostered youth in several locations each year. We have also published our brand novel series, “Forgotten Baby”, which helped us triple our revenue generating the capacity to establish Dream North Foundation.
To promote the advancement of underprivileged minorities, geared primarily towards youth and women, exposed to abuse, sex trafficking, and the judicial and foster care systems while emphasizing the importance of bridging cultural gaps by way of collaboration and global unification.
To utilize economic development tools as a catalyst to self and community preservation, initiated by compassionate community thought leaders seeking to make impactful change.
Although we are a new organization, the leaders of Dream North Foundation have been providing these critical services to beneficiary populations since 2016 through Dream North Entertainment. Our Foundation was founded to serve as a non-profit arm of the Dream North conglomerate in order to provide deeper resources that benefit as many marginalized and underserved individuals as possible.
